Distillery Experience
The winning bidder will experience the craft of distillation at the Ryan &
Wood Distilleries. They will have "hands on" participation in each step
of the process to create a batch of high proof spirits. With the head distiller,
they will assist in the process to mash, ferment, distill, and barrel. After proper
aging, they will participate in the blending, filtering, and bottling. There will
be a five-gallon cask of the product they produced with the winning bidder's name
on the "Head." After a proper aging period, the resulting contents,
propertly bottled, will be available, and the cask will be theirs. All
activity will be in accordance with regulations set by the federal and state licensing
authorities. Minimum age to participate is 21 years. Experience is to occur between
September and November, 2008.
