| The Chamber's Business/Education Collaborative Golf Tournament was a huge success. The weather was beautiful, just a slight breeze off the links at the Bass Rocks Golf Club. 122 golfers enjoyed camaraderie and great golf, followed by Margaritas and a Prime Rib Buffet Awards Dinner at the Elks at Bass Rocks. Proceeds from the tournament fund the programs of the Business/Education Collaborative and the Chamber's Scholarship Fund. ![]() | Over 30 businesspeople and local elected officials met for the spring Cape Ann Caucus, hosted by the Town of Rockport at Ellen's Harborside. The Caucus was developed by the Chamber in 1990 to provide a forum in which business people and government officials can communicate in a frank and positive manner. The Caucus offers an opportunity for interaction not only between the private and public sectors, but also between officials at different levels of government and between officials from the four Cape Ann communities. |

The debate was moderated by Kevin Kiley and sponsored by the Government Affairs Committee of the Rockport Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber's Championship Auction Committee has successfully completed their spring training and are ready to put together a record-breaking Auction. The April 10 Committee meeting was infiltrated by two super fans.
