New Business Contacts
Monthly Evening Business Exchanges and Breakfast Clubs provide an opportunity to network with people who may become new clients or customers. Over 20 committees bring together groups of volunteers on a regular basis.

The Visitor Center
The Chamber's two visitor centers, located at 33 Commercial Street in downtown Gloucester and at Whistlestop Mall in Rockport, annually provide some 65,000 guests with visitor services and offer residents a valuable resource for information. Convenient brochure display racks promote accommodations, attractions, restaurants, retail, and service businesses, while professional staff can be counted on for referral services. The Chamber also operates the Harbor Loop Visitor Center in Gloucester and the Upper Main Street Visitor Center in Rockport on a seasonal basis.

Education and Training Programs
Seminars and speaker programs are available for Chamber members and their staffs to address issues such as entrepreneurship, tax planning, effective advertising, federal regulations, sexual harassment, and computer applications. Free small business counseling is also available on an ongoing basis in conjunction with the Small Business Development Center of Salem State College.

Advocacy
The Chamber is a strong supporter of the business community on such key issues as taxation, parking, zoning, downtown revitalization, industrial growth and more. The Chamber of Commerce serves as a spokesman for the free enterprise system.

Exposure
New members of the Chamber are introduced at our Breakfast Club programs and Evening Business Exchanges. New members are also listed in the Chamber newsletter and highlighted in the regular New Member feature. Each Chamber member receives a free listing in our Membership Directory, which is widely distributed to businesses and government offices, as well as a free listing on our on-line Business Directory. Thousands of referrals are made each year through the Chamber office. We refer members only.

Group Health Insurance

Certificates of Origin
The Chamber provides Certificates of Origin at no cost for members, saving valuable time and money. These necessary documents certify that your products are manufactured in the United States.

Fitness Club Discounts
Discounts are available to Chamber members and their employees on membership fees to the Manchester Athletic Club.
